Mahila Entrepreneurship Meet, Thrissur
More than 200 women entrepreneurs from across Thrissur district joined the 2026 edition of our Mahila Entrepreneurship Meet — a full-day programme built around one question we hear constantly at our branches: what does it actually take to fund a small business and keep it funded?
The morning sessions covered business planning fundamentals, how lenders read a repayment case, and the documentation that speeds up a Mahila Loan application. In the afternoon, existing customers who have grown tailoring units, food-processing ventures and retail shops shared what worked and what they would do differently, followed by an open desk where our branch managers reviewed individual proposals.
What the day covered
Building a simple, credible business plan for a first loan application
Understanding eligibility, documentation and subsidised Mahila Loan terms
Matching repayment rhythm — daily, weekly or monthly — to real business cash flow
Digital tools: tracking your loan and paying interest through the Invest Gold app
One-to-one proposal reviews with branch managers
“The mentorship and business support helped me confidently grow my dream into reality — and the repayment schedule was built around how my shop actually earns.”
